<p>Err, what on earth are you talking about... We already record a bounding box for each changeset (which is equivalent to recording the area because the area can be computed from the bounding box) but the problem is that if somebody edits in both Alaska and Australia in the same changeset then you get a massive bounding box.</p>
<p>Only seeing "small changes" doesn't help at all - that has been suggested before - because what I want to know if whether a change has occurred in a given area. I don't care if the bbox is tiny or massive, I just want to know if it affects my area of interest.</p>
