<p>I've pushed <a href="https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/commit/4d44f188e1b69d94ea9f364d85a57dcd262a93ba" class="commit-link"><tt>4d44f18</tt></a> which does something along these lines, but limited to diary entries in teh last 24 hours, so that it penalises people who post a whole string of diary entries very quickly.</p>
