<p>Also, about whether to let people use the site before they have confirmed their email or not, how about allowing them to log in at anytime but simply do not allow to edit the map until they confirmed the email? As <a href="https://github.com/mvexel" class="user-mention">@mvexel</a> said, the whole idea is to make it easier for people to sign up on mobile devices, which now is kind of cumbersome.</p>

<p>Note that I'm definitely not an OSM power user as you guys, so this is just some feedback from an 'outsider' who's involved in implementing a login/sign up component that will most likely end up in Scout.</p>
