<p>Good catch, just pushed <a href="https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/commit/db40eee333d81e6c02821f54b77d0ca63d6b3a1d" class="commit-link"><tt>db40eee</tt></a> which makes the <code>banner</code> div work like the <code>welcome</code> div. Now the banner is only visible when the sidebar isn't being used for anything else.</p>
