<p>I suspect that given the lack of really sensitive information, the preferred language being perhaps the "worst" item, that the user details are quite a good proxy for "has an OSM account", and the typical user would not have an issue disclosing the information, as, as <a href="https://github.com/tomhughes" class="user-mention">@tomhughes</a> points out, the same ai available via the website, if they could actually verify that this is the case.</p>
