<p><a href="https://github.com/holgerjeromin" class="user-mention">@HolgerJeromin</a> JOSM has a nice MOTD but not other editors. New user rarely use JOSM so they don't get a MOTD. Because we don't have a unified communications means for users, only those that subscribe see notices such as the announcement of the new DigitalGlobe imagery. A simple message would help spread the word.</p>
