<p>I'm also unsure if we're mixing up some concepts. A text-only email, with an image attachment, is still a multipart message. The choice that we're offering should be in terms of "html vs text", not "multipart vs text".</p>
<p>I know that we don't send any text + attachment emails at the moment, but we might in the future. I've spent a long time refactoring existing parts of this codebase that have unnecessary complications in terminology!</p>
