<p>I'm really not sure this is useful while we allow anonymous notes as, in the vast majority of cases, the person who raised the note will never see the request for more information.</p>
<p>Also notes are a shared resource, and this sounds like a scheme for mappers to "claim" a note as theirs and discourage others from resolving it.</p>
<p>To be honest I'm confused about what you are even proposing as "needs more information" and "I'm working on this" are too entirely different things so how would one status cover both?</p>
