<p>I am skeptical regarding the idea of creating a "family friendly" sanitised OSM experience. If you wanted to do that in earnest, you would have to limit exposure to map elements too ("OMG my child saw a PENIS SHAPED LANDUSE on the map"), or at least you would create the expectation in people that somehow you could. You would then also want look at messages before they reach the addressee, etc.</p>
<p>I'm very much in favour of including minors in our mapping force, but I am not convinced that trying to shield them from the world is the right way to achieve that.</p>
