<p>Side note: I wrote "there is no way of deleting individual note comments". While this is true, I noticed that the data model actually already supports the deletion (hiding) of individual note comments and there are even tests for ensuring they are indeed hidden, but there is neither an API nor a web user interface for this at the moment. I created a wishlist issue <a class="issue-link js-issue-link" data-error-text="Failed to load issue title" data-id="343411415" data-permission-text="Issue title is private" data-url="https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/1934" href="https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/1934">#1934</a> for that.</p>
