<p>The potential for Plus Codes is great, the addresses for every location on earth already exist, they can be derived offline, are concise, and recognizable. I've looked at many systems and feel that Plus Codes is the first one I've studied that makes sense anywhere in the world.<br>
The Tanzania Development Trust has calculated the Plus Codes for 17 million building points in Tanzania.  We did a test upload in the <a href="https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/59213224" rel="nofollow">Zeze village</a> as a way to see how it could work in OSM.</p>
