<p>Sure - This is not about adding OLC to<br>
the OSM metadata. We have a clustering algorithm that determines clusters of houses. We label these with OLC (outside OSM), acting like a postcode, as we don't have names (nor do local health workers). So the OLC provides a logical label, that can be printed on maps, or sets of bookmarks in maps.me. I would also like maps.me/Google maps to be able to generate OLC for sharing. I think OSMand can do this. We can then collect village names over time, or communicate specific needs for villages using OLC. However, if OSM cannot look up the OLC is problematic for us.</p>
