<p>I understand <a class="user-mention" data-hovercard-type="user" data-hovercard-url="/hovercards?user_id=147741" data-octo-click="hovercard-link-click" data-octo-dimensions="link_type:self" href="https://github.com/tomhughes">@tomhughes</a>'s concerns. If we want the list of changed features show some descriptions, we might want to reuse the presets of an editor, e.g. JOSM (GPLv2+ licensed). And even using presets can have side effects. For example, if the developers of an editor decide to remove a tag from their presets in favour of another tag, the website will show a human-readable description for the later feature only and some mappers might get the impression that the new tag is "officially" endorsed by OpenStreetMap.</p>
