<li>Analysers could crash : yes, but they could be "quickly" patched.</li>
<li>Editors may limit values length to 255 chars and lost the end : we could retrieve previous value with the history. And it's not worse than now.</li>
</ul>
<p>First, we could list all editors currently used. (see comment in <a href="https://github.com/drolbr/Overpass-API/issues/189#issuecomment-663849339" data-hovercard-type="issue" data-hovercard-url="/drolbr/Overpass-API/issues/189/hovercard">Overpass-API/issues/189</a>).</p>
<p>Then, we could check them with a test API (a static URL that send one object with a long value)<br>
And/or send emails to their developpers to check their tools themselves.</p>
<p>Finally, only after main "consumers" are tested/updated, push this in production.</p>
