<p>That's why I did neither in the end and perpetrated a <a href="https://github.com/tomhughes/openstreetmap-website/blob/doorkeeper/config/initializers/doorkeeper.rb#L6">bit of hackery</a> instead - basically what doorkeeper-i18n already does and what doorkeeper itself should probably do.</p>
