<p>I was searching for a river in open street maps, and once I had the search results in the sidebar, I just zoomed out to see most of Canada so that I could just hover my mouse over the search results and see the markers appear over the map. Very useful :) But when I try sharing this with my friends (by copying the url), it works for a second but then the map zooms in on the first search result rather than staying where I set it and respecting the <code>#map=6/46.198/-80.652</code> part of the URL…</p>
<p>Here is the original URL I was trying to share: <a href="https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=pine%20river%2C%20ontario#map=6/46.198/-80.652" rel="nofollow">https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=pine%20river%2C%20ontario#map=6/46.198/-80.652</a></p>
<p>Notice the <code>#map=6/46.198/-80.652</code>. When I visit that link, a second after the page loads, the zoom level and position change to <code>#map=19/48.11675/-90.77026</code>.</p>
<p>Is this a bug? Am I using the map incorrectly?</p>
