<p dir="auto">Another example just this morning, see <a href="https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/odd-edits-in-italy/97706/55" rel="nofollow">https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/odd-edits-in-italy/97706/55</a> .  A well-known Italian troll created userid 19303717 (username "gapathys") and made some edits that they knew the community would not agree with.  They then deleted the account and created a new userid 19471310 which they also called "gapathys" (not yet deleted as I write this) to revert those edits.</p>
<p dir="auto">Part of the solution for this problem is for users who are currently blocked not to be able to delete their own accounts.</p>
