<p dir="auto">The datetime attribute is for machine-readable contexts only and isn't designed for people to read. Having the title going through the i18n system (using <code class="notranslate">l</code>) is the whole point - of making something that is human-readable, particularly in other languages.</p>
<p dir="auto">In the RTL version that you show, it says "09T20:32:14Z-05-2017" which is garbled nonsense, no matter which direction you try to read it! I assume was originally "2017-05-09T20:32:14Z"  and the browser has divided this up on punctuation boundaries, started writing "2017", "-", "05", "-" from the right, then spotted the "T" and switch to LTR for the rest.</p>
<p dir="auto">I understand your point about perfect being the enemy of good, but there's also a difference between "good" and "not good" 😄</p>
