<p dir="auto">I wanted to try running the app outside of the provided Docker setup. I've followed the instructions in <code class="notranslate">INSTALL.md</code> and <code class="notranslate">gd</code> (2.3.3_6) has definitely been installed via <code class="notranslate">brew</code>. Any <code class="notranslate">rails</code> or <code class="notranslate">rake</code> command results in a <code class="notranslate">Couldn't load the gd2 library. (LoadError)</code>, e.g.</p>

<p dir="auto">I saw that this was previously reported by <a class="user-mention notranslate" data-hovercard-type="user" data-hovercard-url="/users/alongLFB/hovercard" data-octo-click="hovercard-link-click" data-octo-dimensions="link_type:self" href="https://github.com/alongLFB">@alongLFB</a> in <a class="issue-link js-issue-link" data-error-text="Failed to load title" data-id="2607410096" data-permission-text="Title is private" data-url="https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/5281" data-hovercard-type="issue" data-hovercard-url="/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/5281/hovercard" href="https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/5281">#5281</a>, and that <a href="https://github.com/dark-panda/gd2-ffij/pull/27" data-hovercard-type="pull_request" data-hovercard-url="/dark-panda/gd2-ffij/pull/27/hovercard">PRs are going unaddressed in the gem's repo</a>. Wondering if anyone's come up with a workaround.</p>
