  <p dir="auto">The OSMF privacy policy guarantees that contribution meta data will only be shown to logged in users <a href="https://osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy#Who_has_access_to_the_data" rel="nofollow">https://osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy#Who_has_access_to_the_data</a> (yes, the OSMF violates this all over the place, but that doesn't give anybody a free get out of jail card to add to those violations).</p>
<p dir="auto">So either the privacy policy needs to be changed, iffy because this changes the basic tenants it is built on and not a question that is of a technical nature, or the feature needs to only available to logged in users as I pointed out in the relevant PR back in January.</p>
