  <p dir="auto">Oh I see - the problem is you used the term "rendered" which is something we normally use when talking about the underlying map.</p>
<p dir="auto">The code that draws data layer objects (the orange highlight) is just a very basic heuristic and doesn't attempt to do lots of clever tag interpretation because that would be a never ending quest to deal with every weirdness.</p>
<p dir="auto">As it happens it's also not in this repository, it is in <a href="https://github.com/openstreetmap/leaflet-osm">https://github.com/openstreetmap/leaflet-osm</a>.</p>
