<p dir="auto">Hmm - I'd rather it not automatically uncheck the box <em>or</em> hide the currently-visible Notes when zooming out, personally.</p>

<p dir="auto">Maybe, when a lower zoom level is loaded than allowed, each of those elements gets a little clickable plus-in-magnifying-glass icon next to it, that maintains the current map center focus but zooms in to (and maybe automatically enables?) that overlay layer at the minimum required zoom?</p>
