<p dir="auto">Since my recent PR was the catalyst for this (😅), I’d love to handle this doc update. It only makes sense that I help clarify the parts I found confusing!</p>
<p dir="auto">I’ll send over a PR shortly that updates <code class="notranslate">CONTRIBUTING.md</code> to explicitly cover:</p>

<li>The requirement to squash fixup commits for a cleaner history.</li>
<li>The recommendation to use feature branches instead of working directly on <code class="notranslate">master</code>.</li>
