</div>Per the schedule it is to start before the 1st to facilitate<br>
completion of redaction by the end of the month. You'll see comments<br>
in the plan about how the length of the period can't be accurately<br>
gauged until we have some benchmarks from the tests this weekend.<br>
We've allowed three days in the spirit of should-be-plenty, but we do<br>
need to see how the code performs on a real running DB before we can<br>
estimate it any better than that.<br>

I'll note that, although we had been discussing a changeover process<br>
not involving a read-only phase, it's not terribly uncommon that a<br>
change of this magnitude would require some disruption of service.<br>
