Hi Kate,<div><br></div><div>I forwarded this to the OSMF Japan list.</div><div>I think the Japanese foundation would be a suitable entity to register the domains. </div><div><br></div><div>Another idea came up (thanks to Venkatesh Raghavan) to eventually combine SotM Asia with some Asian FOSS4G.</div>

<div>I think travel costs might be an issue for many attendants and we could give the opportunity to attend a FOSS4G Asia as well as SotM Asia at the same location.</div><div>I don't think many people from Asia will be able to travel to UK next year for either FOSS4G or (probably) SotM.</div>
