Mikel, and all,

I actually think there are other unexplored issues which have not
raised, since I wanted to try to find some common ground in our
discussion (hard to believe, I know). It is slightly premature to say
we have definitively exhausted the discussion. I agree that we can
start documenting things and I have started a wiki page. I have written
the background section with information is intended to be our common
agreed ground of (mostly) factual information. If people can have a
look and anything in the background that you think is controversial can
be moved out of that section. Feel free to add additional factual
information that won't cause objections and is relevant to the
discussion. That way we can avoid going over the same ground again and
again.
I also suggest we put this on osm-talk in a few days, but you can have
a first shot at it. (Jim, I'll probably reply off list regarding your
post at some point.)
PS Please keep legal talk on the appropriate mailing list.
PPS I'm off to do some mapping...
The Fork discussion has been pretty exhausted. We understand the points
of view.
If someone can document off-list the points of view, in a neutral way,
that would be a positive contribution.
Otherwise we're treading water.
