Hi all,<br><br>Just also had some non-OSM people looking at <a href="http://osm.org">osm.org</a>. Some results:<br><br>- Search box was hard to find.<br>- Examples at the search box bring only more confusion instead of helping the user<br>
- Unclear how to report errors in the map. Even, it's unclear that you're invited to make corrections to the map yourself.<br>- Serious disappointment: search is not working properly. Some streets can not be found (e.g: "wibrandusstraat, aduard" not, but "bosweg, aduard" can. Both streets are next to eachother....)<br>

Doing my homework for our discussion about future of OpenStreetMap.org<br>
front page, I've conducted a small user experience survey in Russian<br>
community forum. It contains opinions of current project users, both<br>
newbies and experienced mappers. Below are its results:<br>

What should be added:<br>
* ruler<br>
* scale bar<br>
* Facebook's "Like" and Twitter's "Tweet" button (perhaps, some more<br>
local through AddThis.com service)<br>
* "Report an error" link to OpenStreetBugs<br>
* 3d buildings<br>
* mobile version at <a href="http://m.osm.org" target="_blank">m.osm.org</a><br>
<br>
What should be changed:<br>
* search (to become more adequate)<br>
* main map style<br>
* OpenLayers controls<br>

In an effort to visualise these ideas I've created several mockup<br>

Though I agree that the main problem now is not the main page but<br>
