It's worth menitioning that Wikidata is still very new. How stable are<br>
the IDs? Any policies around them?<br>

Italian, and English Wikipedias. "Deployed" means that interwiki links
on the left side of each article is taken from Wikidata database. Soon
the So Wikidata IDs should be pretty stable. There is also a policy of
not reusing IDs, so if they find a duplicate ID, it will not get reused
