<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Hi Gentlemen,<br><br></div>Well, I hope you'll be fully satisfied with the last edition of the power transmission proposal.<br><a href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/Power_transmission_refinement#overhead_power.3Dline">http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/Power_transmission_refinement#overhead_power.3Dline</a><br>
<br></div>Instead of introducing a brand new line:type key, I've extended the definition of line=* originally introduced by power substation refinement.<br></div>Several values come with this key to describe what mappers see. Voltage is recommended and render engines can get rid of it.<br>
</div><div>It's now possible to describe lines usefulness better than a simple power=minor_line for small distribution lines.<br></div><div><br></div>Thus :<br></div>power=minor_line => power=line + line=minor_distribution + voltage=*<br>
</div>power=minor_cable => power=cable + cable=minor_distribution + voltage=*<br><br><br></div>line=* and cable=* values are fully consistent with substation=* values and IEC definitions.<br></div><div>minor_distribution value comes in both key just because substation=minor_distribution exists and that's a good point compared to the only two levels given by IEC.<br>
</div>I don't see a better way to make such things right.<br><br><br></div>Thanks in advance for any feedbacks.<br><br><br></div>Cheers.<br><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><br></div></div></div></div></div>
