There is plenty of small scale salt ponds, but it is not a good reason to not call it industrial activity. Typical definitions is "<div style="display:inline">
<span>the activity or business of growing crops and raising livestock.</span></div>" for farming and "<span>economic activity concerned with the processing of raw materials and manufacture of goods in factories.</span>" for industry. Salt ponds IMHO clearly belong to the second category.<br>
