Whether on the changeset or on the object - whichever is
most appropriate, automatically adding the current date as
survey:date whenever a source=survey is entered could be a
nice optional editor functionality.

Is a precise date necessary ? My use of the survey date could
tolerate just recording year and month... What moves so fast that
the precise day is important ? Some things I guess... But then
wouldn't the current date be a decent default for most cases ?<br>
