<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div><div>Hi all,<br><br></div>I'm pleased to announce the beginning of the vote for the power supports refinement proposal. It will end by May 28.<br><a href="https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/Power_supports_refinement">https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/Power_supports_refinement</a><br><br></div>This proposal define more precisely the attributes for power poles and tower but introduces 3 more types of supports too.<br></div>Portals, terminals and insulators may allow most advanced mappers to best describe power infrastructure.<br><br></div><div>Keep in mind that most of this material is optional, advanced and a basic mapping section is available at the top. A few keys/values only are recommended or mandatory.<br></div><div>The key point is the definition of towers and poles by their structure and not by the voltage they carry.<br></div><div><br></div>This proposal is the first document resulting from the split of the legacy power transmission refinement proposal (which is abandoned). The second one regarding power paths isn't complete yet.<br><br></div><div>A big "thank you" to everyone who gets involved in the RFC process.<br></div><div><br><br></div><div>All the best<br></div><br><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><br clear="all"><div><div><div class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><b>François Lacombe</b><br><br>fl dot infosreseaux At gmail dot com<br><a href="http://www.infos-reseaux.com" target="_blank">www.infos-reseaux.com</a><br><a href="http://www.twitter.com/InfosReseaux" target="_blank">@InfosReseaux</a></div></div></div>
