It's indeed a problem.<br>
<a href="http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/876509331">In this place</a>,
the Y shaped junction extends so widely that they called it <i><b>place
Neuforge</b></i>.<br>
In French, <i><b>place</b></i> means <i><b>square</b></i> (even if
triangular).<br>
JOSM preset search finds nothing for <b>square</b>.<br>
No need to say that looking for <i><b>place</b></i> in the wiki is
in vain.<br>
When I looked for <b>square</b>, I was sent to <a
href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Plaza"><b><i>plaza</i></b></a>.
And from there:<br>
<ul>
<li>to <a
href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Proposed_features/Plaza&action=edit&redlink=1"
class="new" title="Proposed features/Plaza (page does not
exist)">Proposed features/Plaza</a>, in fact landuse=square, a
bit bulky for a simple junction node, and abandoned</li>
<li>to <a
href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:highway%3Dpedestrian"
title="Tag:highway=pedestrian">Tag:highway=pedestrian</a>, for
its area=yes, I suppose. The market place and plaza it speaks of
are rather different from the junction <b>node</b> that I and
Gerd speak of.</li>
</ul>
<p>Then, I had the idea to look for <a
href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Get_help">help for help
</a>, learned that there is an <a
href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?search=&title=Special%3ASearch&go=Go">Advanced
Help</a> which finally found <a
href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:place%3Dsquare"
title="Tag:place=square">Tag:place=<span class="searchmatch">square</span></a>.
But that tag is not known by JOSM.<br>
The picture in that page doesn't look quite like the Y shaped
junction.<br>
And place=locality was rendering the name and not place=square.
Why why why? How how how?<br>
