<div dir="ltr">I liked shop=marine because IMO it described the boat supply situation in my area perfectly (Homer, Alaska, USA). While the tag you suggest might be more definitive in some ways, being forced to use the bulky, multiple-colon-endowed tag "<span style="font-size:16px">seamark:small_craft_facility:</span><span style="font-size:16px">category=chandler" </span>is not an attractive alternative.<div><div><br></div><div>My 2 cents</div></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Tue, Apr 12, 2016 at 2:13 AM, Martin Koppenhoefer <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:dieterdreist@gmail.com" target="_blank">dieterdreist@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><br>

</span>none of these tags is established though, there are just 179 shop=boat tagged as of now, so I wouldn't let this influence the decision about a new tagging system that is suitable to tag what we want.<br>

</span>is this about a seamark or a chandler? If it's the latter, why is the main class "seamark"? Or how is this seamark system intended to work? For the record, there are only 42 objects tagged with this tag: <a href="http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/seamark%3Asmall_craft_facility%3Acategory#values" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/seamark%3Asmall_craft_facility%3Acategory#values</a><br>
