You are right about the descriptions in the wiki.<br>

The pictures I have about mast and tower 'in my head' are clearly
different from each other - from them, I would call that a mast.<br>
A usual difference I take into consideration is the accessibility:<br>
A tower can usually be walked on - a mast can usually only be
climbed on.<br>
