To answer this question, we need for <a
href="https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:advertising">advertising</a>
devices to give the dimension (or the size) of the display area of
the billboard, <i>without</i> the support, and as well the total
height of the advertising device, <i>including</i> the support.
Common advertising devices are 4 m. length and 3 m. height then
their <a href="https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:size">size</a>
would be 4*3, and their <a
href="https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:height">height</a>
is 6 m. <br>

If possible, the height of an advertising devices should be computed
from <i>the lowest part</i> of the device (if ground is not flat)
and up to<i> the highest point</i> of the billboard : an <i>average
height</i> has no meaning, at least for advertising regulations in
some countries like France. <br>
This is what is explained today in <a

page, do you think this needs to be changed ? <br>
