<p>Please don't use "pump:type" as it invites people to use it for loads of different things. You are actually doing it yourself. A "bilge pump" is functional and says nothing about the construction or power source (even if there is such a thing as a typical bilge pump). And "electric_pump" is about the power source, and says nothing about the function or construction.</p>
