I've seen mappers who assume it means there is a sign *just* to warn traffic about pedestrians, as can be found in the UK. I've seen mappers who assume it means there is a nearby traffic light that means cars sometimes stop at this location, but it doesn't say anything about having a "walk"/"do not walk" sign.</div><div><br></div><div>The wiki only says, "Position this tag where the crossing-traffic (pedestrian, bicycles) have their own traffic lights.". Pedestrians having "their own" traffic lights would seem to imply the lights are specific to the crossing and not that cross-traffic has to stop sometimes, but it does not say which type of traffic light: cross-traffic (cars) or pedestrian traffic.
