Well, a handicraft shop is where handicraft items are sold. Sorry,
but I think it doesn't get any more specific than that. :)<br>
For shops that sell accessories for crafts and for places where
they're done, there's already well established tags, like those
mentioned by Bert.<br>
There are many shops that say "handicraft", but they're really
souvenir shops, but in real handicraft shops there's only (or
mainly) handycraft items made by local people. Almost every village
in Portugal interior has one, where old people can sell their
handmade products.<br>
<br>
Some examples (there are thousands in Portugal and Brazil):<br>

<div>I agree there might be a gap for a specific tag in this
field, although there might also be different kind of handicraft
shops ;-) In part there will be overlap with stationery shops
and shops where artists buy their material.</div>
<div>Can you explain what kind of things they sell and what
services (if any) are offered?</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>For example this shop is tagged as stationery, but it really
is an understatement, they have a huge selection of all kind of
handicraft and model building materials (cardboard, foamboard,
wood, metal, plastic, fabrics, ...), tools, frames, stationery,
furniture like tables and lights, on 2 floors, have a look at
their website to get an impression: <a
