I also see no problem in plural shrubs.
Actually it would be good, to keep it similar like we have
natural=tree and natural=wood (I know not "trees" but it's a
word to name a group of plants, same like scrub is, shrubs is to
name a group). I would prefer shrubs, but also add that we can
use it on a node. Not all mappers like to draw areas so for me
it would be OK for general mapping just to put a node in the
centre where the group of shrubs is located. We still remain
with natural=shrub (singular) to map an individual shrub or
natural=bush to map an individual bush.
It's not good practice, I know, but it's better we provide the
option because some mappers will do it anyway. Agree ?

Please to all, don't make a step backwards, I was also
preferring to bring this under natural=scrub however I
understood there is a clear need for a separate tag due to the
human intervention, so please, to help us move on, try to
understand this and accept the new natural value. If you are
not willing to compromise, all due respect for that, you can
still vote against the proposal or stay neutral, but opening
that discussion again will not help us and Vincent anymore at
this stage. Keep in mind we are creating guidelines, not rules.
You can always add your own keys or amend a basic proposal once
accepted.
In my view we are close but this proposal needs a lot of
examples to describe how it is suitable to full-fill everyones
preferences, which can be easily added later on.

Next we need consensus about the definition
and we are good to go voting ? Waiting for Vincent's
modifications.
