It was also brought to my attention yesterday that all values in the natural key are singular. Shrubs is plural. For consistency, this value should also be singular. That leaves two options</div>

1) Repurpose natural=shrub to also be applied on areas rather than only nodes. The downside of this is that it only differs 1 letter from natural=scrub which might cause confusion</div>

2) Use natural=shrubbery which according to the definition seems to cover everything I was trying to get covered with the proposal.</div>

<div dir="auto">I would vote yes for either, but the issue with shrubs vs shrubbery, is that shrubs seems to exclude elements of landscaping that are not strictly a shrub, but are part of an overall landscaped area, such as a mulch bed or non-shrub plants. </div>
