Speaking for Kilkenny in Ireland where a LOT of the pavestones
are made of the local limestone, you wouldn't see anything else on
the map over all the fossils in the pavement. But if it's more
reasonable in your town/ city, go ahead.

I recently became aware of "urban fossils": significant
fossils that can be easily spotted in stones that are used in
pavement or buildings. What would be a good tag for that? I
think it should probably be under tourism, maybe just
tourism=fossil, with a subtag to explain if it's a naturally
occurring stone, part of a building or street, or perhaps
installed as artwork?
