            the road and the waterway: a common node for sure, but with
            or without the ford=yes tag? Adding it seems duplicating the
            tag on the road section, but I am not sure the navigation
            tools will be able to consider this intersection as a ford
            if it has no attribute about it. <br>

    <p>I would tag the entire length of the road way that could be in
      the water. I would not add it to the nodes. <br>
    </p>
    <p>The land vehicle navigation tools should consider the way tagged
      as a ford. </p>
    <p>Not certain of water vehicle navigation tools (if any) ??? </p>
