A couple of years ago I documented Direct
Provision facilities in Ireland which range through static
caravans to re-purposed hotels. I noticed these because a friend
is a member of the <a

        Runners.

It's also worth remembering that refugee facilities take many
form (we currently have a fair number of Afghan refugees in hotels
      in the UK).

When I was growing up I had quite a number of friends whose
fathers had first lived in refugee camps after WW2, some of them continued
for quite a number of years. Again somewhat different.

So I agree with stevea, don't redefine prison, explore the actual
diversity of things which these terms represent. In general I find
the social_facility:* scheme often offers enough nuance to capture
salient points even if it fails to provide an overriding single
category (which I think might be hard and not really
      representative).
