Some ambiguity there, but that was the gist of it. After the recent changes these pages now state that landuse=farmland should be used for tilled cropland and pastures, while landuse=meadow should only be used for grassy areas which are not regularly grazed.<br></div><div><b></b><br></div><div><br></div><div>Is this change in meaning appropriate or not?<br></div></div></blockquote><div dir="auto">No, as it was not discussed, significantly changes meaning, author of edits has<br></div><div dir="auto">not linked any discussion.<br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">And, what is the most important, old definition matched actual use of tags while <br></div><div dir="auto">new one is no longer matching it.<br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">In addition actual tagging schema seems superior to one being proposed.<br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I think that in such cases asking user on their talk page what they are <br></div><div dir="auto">doing and asking for link to discussion on some open forum would be<br></div><div dir="auto">a good idea.<br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Or maybe even simply reverting it and asking user to explain why they<br></div><div dir="auto">try to redefine tags.<br></div> </body>
