larger shops as a "campus" - but perhaps only customer accessible
areas/buildings (if possible to define - so excluding, for
example, office buildings).<br>

<p>Yes, I'd noticed that. OSM Carto also doesn't render shop=* areas
as retail areas (presumably because this tag is most often
accompanied by a building=* tag), so we need to remember to add
landuse=retail to the shop area too.<br>
