    <p>With "standalone", I meant that they are not QR codes on a larger
      information sign which probably exists, too. They refer to the
      building or memorial, just like a plaque would, but they're not a
      plaque, just a sticker. Would you prefer "information=sticker" +
      "qr_code=yes"?<br>

          wiki are not stand-alone. They are attached to specific
          buildings. This would be perfectly tagged as qr_code=yes on
          the some object (polygon or node) that carries the other tags
          of the building, say building=yes; name=Xyz Cottage;
          qr_code=yes; opening_hours=....</div>
        <div>As pointed out above, it may be useful to provide in
          addition a means of describing what type of information the QR
          Code provides: if it's a historic building it may link to the
          description, but when it's near a restaurant door, it may
          point to their menu.</div>
