I also support that proposal qr_code = yes as a new tag. The single one can also apply it. I think tagging the form of the QR code carrier is better.<br><br><br><br><html>

<p>Hi all,<br>
</p>
<p>I came across QR codes as a form of <font face="Courier New,
Courier, monospace">tourism=information</font> in Wales, and I'd
like to propose to map them as information=qr_code. Please find
the page link below<br>
</p>
<p><a href="https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/information%3Dqr_code" rel="noreferrer noreferrer" target="_blank">https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/information%3Dqr_code</a></p>
<p>I've also contacted the company/ project <a href="http://historypoints.org" rel="noreferrer noreferrer" target="_blank">historypoints.org</a> to see
whether they would work with OSM UK in providing the locations.
However, I don't want to get involved with that, because I have
enough to do in Ireland, and I also don't know how to import data
like that.<br>
</p>
