    <p>No, it probably just means that, based on previous conversations,
      people think that replying will have little effect, and will just
      vote "no" when the time comes :)</p>
    <p>Bluntly:</p>
    <ul>
      <li>This proposal seems to add no value.  There's literally
        nothing at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/emergency%3Dwater_rescue">https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/emergency%3Dwater_rescue</a>
        that says why this new tagging is an improvement on what we have
        now.</li>
      <li>The proposal to create a "new" tag "emergency=marine_rescue"
        ignores that that tag is already in-use for something else (see
        e.g. <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/8321217532">https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/8321217532</a> ).  It just
        gives the impression that things haven't been thought through at
        all.</li>
    </ul>
