<div dir="auto"><div>Hey,</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Happy to provide some more context. The tag being voted is a brand new tag that has never been used before namely virtual_tour. So it is normal that it cannot be found in taginfo as it has never been used before. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">The only reason this one person rejects the proposal is because the tag has never been used in OSM.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Meanwhile, I have used this tag for 4 objects, so this tag now does show up in taginfo. So basically, the reason for rejection is no longer correct as the tag has now been used and the tag is therefore in the statestats.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Since a no vote outweighs a yes vote, it seems fair to me that a no vote may only be used if a substantiated reason is given. So not to simply vote no because the tag does not appear in the statesticks, which is normal with a brand new tag.... If you follow this reasoning (voting no because a new tag should not be voted) then this means that any brand new tag should not be approved....<br><br><div class="gmail_quote" dir="auto"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">Op za 16 nov. 2024 14:32 schreef brecht devriese <<a href="mailto:brecht.devriese92@gmail.com">brecht.devriese92@gmail.com</a>>:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="auto">Hey,<div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I ask myself the following question but do not immediately find an answer. With a wiki proposal during voting, can one have an "I appose" vote invalidated if no thorough reason is given ? Such as, for example, I oppose this proposal. It makes no sense to "approve" this tag - it has never been used. If someone wants to use this tag they can just use it; it does not need "approval". </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">If it is possible to invalidate an "I appose" vote, how do you do this?</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Thx</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Brecht</div></div>
